Why We Love the Slide Attachment
We recently released a reel explaining our preferred attachment technique here at Lashmii and it’s called The Slide Technique.
I wanted to do a more in depth explanation of this technique and why it is so effective for retention. Plus a couple of tips to make it easier!
First things first, you’ll pick up your lash for application. This will work with both classic and volume styles as long as the base is skinny.
Dip your lash in the adhesive and isolate the natural lash on your client. The next step is the most important part!
You want to identify where the natural lash curls and place the tip of the adhesive dipped extension flush with that juncture of the natural lash.
Right where the curl of natural lash begins.
Then you slide the extension all the way down to the base of the natural lash.
This will cause the adhesive to run up the extension and natural lash together and form a strong bond all the way up the base.
Creating that strong bond all the way up will improve your retention because there isn’t just a single point of contact of bond between natural lash and extension.
PRO TIP: Use a light hand when dipping in your adhesive otherwise your extension will not slide all the way down the natural lash.
Don’t worry about not using enough adhesive because the slide maneuver will force the adhesive to run all the way up the extension and create a strong bond.

The One About Our Lashes
The One About Our Lashes
It’s time to spill the tea…it’s hot and ready to serve up! This is where I’m going to break down all of the lash products we currently have in stock and why they are
the freaking best. Our She-E-O and founder Kaylee has been lashing for seven years and has taken over ten advanced training courses all over the globe. Learning
from the best artists in our industry led to her working with a wide array of lash products and ultimately the creation of her own product line.
That was the genesis of our original Faux Mink Trays. These lashes are dark as night with a slight gloss to them to give an ultra high end finish to a lash set. The
Faux Mink trays never lose their finish and will still give a deep and dense look to your client’s lash line after 3 weeks. How our Faux Mink trays differ from other
lashes on the market is their weight. Our .07 lashes are slightly thinner in diameter and allow you to create a full dark fan without compromising the health of your
client’s lashes. Kaylee’s favorite way to use these is a classic Russian volume full set and she can use the .07 diameter on any client without worrying about the
health of the lashes or losing the density the Russian volume technique gives. The Faux Mink trays were a staple in our studio for all of our artists.
Fast forward to today with the launch of our BFF Collection. We created this collection with you, the artist, in mind. We wanted these lashes to be your new BFF and
Lashmii to be your industry bestie. The BFF Collection includes our mixed trays and also a wide variety of Pro Made Fans. Which are UH-Mazing btw. The material of
this collection differs from our Faux Mink because these lashes are a true matte black, giving a soft, but still dark effect to your lash sets. And can I just say the
mixed trays fan like BUTTER. The less you manipulate the tweezers on the lash strip the better. These lashes open perfectly with total ease and that’s why they’ll be
your new BFF. How about when you’re in a time crunch or maybe today the fans are just not fanning right? That’s when you’ll turn to your BFF Pro Made Edition.
Simply grab a strip of 5D, 6D, or 10D fans, apply them to your lash tile and you’re ready to go! Made with the skinniest bases and narrow fans, you won’t even know
they’re Pro Made.
We have all truly fallen in love with our lash products at the studio here and now we want you to experience and love them like we do! Give them a try and let us
what you think! Tag us on social media @lashmii_llc
